LEARN · BUILD · EXPLAIN
Python + AI
From your first Python function to a private local chatbot. Learn to use your editor and terminal, understand what a language model does, and build a small app you can change and explain.
A practical route, at your pace
- Days 1–9: AI intuition, Mac editor and terminal, Python, files and Git.
- Days 10–15: neural networks, tokens and local model calls with Ollama.
- Days 16–21: browser chat, testing, catch-up and an independent demo. Docker is optional.
Eight topic groups, roughly 25–35 hours of core work. Study for 1–2 hours at a time; at one hour a day, allow 25–35 study days. The slides include a course timetable near the start.
Before you begin
The course is written in English, with macOS walkthroughs you can adapt for your platform. No programming experience is assumed. Begin with the editor and terminal lessons; install Ollama when you reach the local-model section.
